Lamb chops, when done right, are so amazingly tender and flavorful that whether they are baked or grilled don’t need a lot of complex recipes to accompany them. What to serve with lamb chops? Simplicity is the key so as to not to take anything away from the chops.
The Mediterranean Diet includes lamb and is probably most eaten in Greece. The trick to cooking a good lamb is to not overcook. Overcooking creates tough meat (unless you are making a soup or stew then the longer you let it cook on medium heat, the more tender it will get). If you are baking or grilling then you want to cook the chops to medium at most, and medium-rare is even better.
Here are some of our favorite lamb recipes plus 7 recipes to serve with lamb chops.
