Jenni Field is the recipe developer, writer and photographer behind Pastry Chef Online. With sixteen years of teaching special education under her belt, Jenni left the education field to attend culinary school at Orlando Culinary Academy. She spent a few years working in fine dining restaurants in Winter Park, Florida as pastry cook, pastry sous chef and pastry chef. She now combines her love of teaching with her love of baking to share delicious recipes with her readers, both sweet and savory. Aside from the recipes, Jenni loves to teach the basic building blocks of baking: ingredient function, mixing methods and baking fundamentals, to help her readers become fearless in the kitchen. When Jenni is not baking, writing, photographing or shooting video, she is taking care of the foster cats she and her husband care for through a local pet rescue. Or vacuuming. A lot.
